小明：別擔心，您住哪個酒店？

皮特：我住在NorthStar酒店，中文好像叫Beichen.

小明：我明白了。離這不遠，我來告訴您怎么走。

小明：您需要過這座橋，然后在第二個紅綠燈右轉，往前走到頭再左轉，走500米后，右手邊就是北辰酒店。

皮特：太好了！我想我應該可以找到了。非常感謝！

XiaoMing:Itismypleasure.

小明：不用謝。

1.外賓在表達“幫助我”時，除了常見的“helpme”之外，另一個較常見的表達為“domeafavor”，如“Couldyoudomeafavor?/Thankyoufordoingmethefavor.”

2.遇到問路時，我們常說“我來告訴您怎么到……”，英文常見句式為“Letmeshowyouhowtoget…”；也可以用“tell”來替代“show”。

3.具體給外賓指路時，我們常說“在第幾個路口向左/右拐”，其常用的英文句式為“turnleft/rightatthe*trafficlight”。用紅綠燈作為參照物，可能便于外賓更直觀的理解。當然，也可以用類似“crossroad/crossing/intersection”來替換“trafficlight”。另一個常用的指路用語為“走x分鐘就到了”，其英文常表述為“Youwillbethereina*-minutewalk.”
